Our client aims to integrate an online learning platform for teachers into the Hong Kong Education University students' curriculum. It will complement their in-person classes and gradually introduce diverse topics for student engagement. To enhance their interest, the platform will present learning tasks as nautical charts and islands. Users have to overcome lighthouse challenges on the islands to accumulate points. Furthermore, the platform offers discussion forums for student-to-student and student-to-teacher communication.
Immersive Backgrounds Setting
On the platform, learning tasks are distributed among lighthouses located on various islands, which are situated on different nautical charts. The nautical charts are designed based on the Hong Kong map, and they are divided into five major regions.
Nautical Charts
The nautical chart features 20 uniquely themed islands, each available on this platform in two formats: 3D and panorama.
Island
Each island boasts two lighthouses, strategically placed at distinct locations on the panoramic map.
Lighthouse
Each island is adorned with two majestic lighthouses, gracefully positioned at unique locations on the panoramic map.
Character
At the beginning, users will have two foundational characters to choose from, while an additional six characters can only be unlocked after completing lighthouse tasks.
Nautical Badge
After users complete all the lighthouse tasks on an island, they will receive the nautical badge of that particular island.

The platform invites users to embark on an adventurous journey across diverse nautical charts, where they can experience the thrill of discovering lighthouses on a panoramic map, complete exciting challenges, unlock rewards, and claim prestigious titles.
